WORLD AIDS DAY

The
department of Community Health Nursing of
Dr. Hedgewar college of nursing, organized a Guest Lecture on “ Scope
And Trends In Community Health Nursing” and a Session regarding “World AIDS Day” in
virtual mode.
The session started with the
welcome address by Ms. Nikita Shinde, Nursing Tutor, DHCN, followed by
introduction of Guest Speaker Dr. Sureshkumar Ray ( HOD & Professor ,
Department of community health nursing, Bharti Vidyapeeth College of Nursing,
Pune.
The session conducted by Dr.
Sureshkumar Ray was really very informative, Sir discussed various points on
Scope and trends in Community Health Nursing and also spoke about World Aids
Day.
After the session Sir also
interacted with students about their queries and guided students about various
post at PHC, Subcenter and the recruitment process and exams conducted for the
same. Principal Sir- Prof Shreenath Kulkarni also interacted with Dr.
Sureshkumar Ray about various change & trends in community health nursing.
After the session the students
of 4th Year B.Bsc Nursing and 2nd Year GNM performed mime
act on the occasion of world Aids Day On the theme “EQUALIZE”.
The programme concluded with vote of thanks by Mr. Prashant Hiremath ( Assistant Professor DHCN, Aurangabad).
The programme was
organized by 3rd year Basic. BSc Nursing students in collaboration
with 1st Year, 2nd Year, & GNM 1st Year
students.
The anchoring of the
programme was done by students Ms.Prachi Manal & Ms. Pallavi Pardhe.
The agenda of the programme
was:-
1. Introduction
& garlanding the Portrait.
2. Welcome
song by student (Isha Chandanshiv)
3. Lamp
lighting by the Principal.
4. Felicitation
of teachers by students.
5. Speech
by Student ( Sanket Deore)
6. Speech
by Principal Sir.
7. Vote
of thanks by student ( Prachi Manal)
The programme was started with the
lamp lighting by respected Principal and senior staff, a welcome song was sung
by 1st year GNM student Ms. Isha Chandanshiv, all the teachers were
felicitated by 3rd Year B. Bsc students, Sanket Deore student of 1st
year B. Bsc Nursing delievered speech on account of teacher’s day, Principal
sir also gave his best wishes to all the staff. The programme concluded with
vote of thanks by Prachi Manal student of 3rd year B.Bsc Nursing.
The programme was conducted smoothly
& ended with best wishes by students.
