Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar Vaidyakiya Pratishthan is an organisation run by
professionals doctors, who have come together to give maximum of themselves to the
society. Pratishthan has established in 1989, since then it has treated 70 lakhs poor
patients. Dr. Hedgewar hospital is the nucleus of this trust which was established in
the year 1989.It is providing excellent medical services at affordable cost to the
common man. The astounding response from rural & urban poor has strengthened our beliefs
& efforts.
Our vision is we will provide services, medical and social, to common man
which will be & Social, to common man which will be Excellent, Expanding, and
Transparent and with Humanity. Creating Harmonious, Strong, self-reliant and
Nationalistic society through various projects deriving inspiration from Sangh. To
fulfill this vision, 10-bed hospital was started in 1989 by Doctors with small
borrowings from their families. And then doctors decided to manage their life on
subsistent income which set an example. And this is the strongest foundation of this
organisation.

Trust has reached out to slum and rural poor through its 5 Health centers. While intending to bring some social change in slums & villages, doctor is catalyst in this process of transformation leading variety of social slum improvement activities. Faith and confidence received by these doctors is motivating tool towards their participation and realization of improvement. Now there is well-developed network of volunteers, social workers, and full time doctors to implement various programs & projects. Teamwork and dutiful attitude have made it reputed and popular in this region.
