Event Details

                                A farewell party was organized at Dr. Hedgewar College of Nursing on 1/10/2022 for the outgoing batch of Basic B.Bsc Nursing 2018-19 by the students of 4^th year Basic B.Sc Nursing in Damu Anna Date Hall. Ms.Ulka Kamble, Mr. Akshay Jadhav & Mr. Kartik Atole  student of 4^th year welcomed the Principal  & the staff . The programme was initiated with the floral welcome of the senior students. The seniors received a warm welcome by the juniors as they entered the hall wearing elegant attire.

                      The programme began with the juniors performances. The juniors enthusiastically performed welcome song for the seniors. The students were beautifully dressed according to their theme. Juniors also performed group dance & solo dance for welcoming their seniors. The juniors created an ambiance of enjoyment and music for the seniors to enjoy their last memories in the college. Juniors also felicitated all the outgoing students by giving them a gift as a token of love and remembrance.

                    Juniors also organized some activities for the outgoing students for declaring Mr. Farewell & Miss Farewell & 2 rounds were conducted – 1^st  round was of ramp walk for all seniors & from this 5 students were selected for 2^nd round based on the judging criteria that is for questionary round. The selected students were asked some questions by the judges -     Mr. Prashant Hiremath  ( Associate Professor of Dr. Hedgewar college of Nursing) & Miss. Viabhavi Panchal ( Assistant Professor of Dr. Hedgewar college of Nursing) & finally Mr. Farewell & Miss . Farewell was declared from the Outgoing batch . Principal Prof. Shreenath Kulkarni congratulated & crowned  Mr. Farewell  ( Sugat Kharat ) & Miss Farewell                ( Pratiksha Dhurve). 

                       Futher, the event was made memorable with the flashback memories that were shared by some seniors in the speech that created an emotional moment & also juniors played a video clip of their seniors college days. Principal sir addressed the outgoing batch by wishing them a great career ahead & congratulated the students on the successful completion of the course. The programme concluded by vote of thanks by Ms. Bhavna Pardeshi student of final year B.Bsc Nursing, after the programme refreshment was arranged for the organizing batch, outgoing students & all faculty members. It was indeed an entertaining & memorable farewell party.
