INTERNATIONAL WOMEN’S DAY
The
International Women’s Day was celebrated at Dr. Hedgewar college of nursing on
8th March 2023 in Damu Anna Datte Hall on the
Theme – DigitALL: Innovation and technology
for gender equality.
The purpose of
celebrating Women’s Day was – To raise awareness about the status and dignity
of women among the students.
The programme was organized by
3rd Year students. The programme was hosted by Ms. Vaishnavi Bhonde
student of 3rd year, 1 student gave introduction about
“International Women’s Day” and explained the meaning of this years theme.
All the faculty members
were present for the programme. Students also felicitated all the female
faculty on account on Women’s Day.

Tandale, Ms. Bhagyashri Parihar, Mr. Abhijit Wankhede, Ms. Kunti Dhabhale, Ms.
Lisa Ingles, Ms. Nandani Matiale, Ms. Priyanka Bhalerao, Ms. Tanvi Walekar, Ms.
Mayuri Dongardive, Ms. Jyoti Giri & Ms. Vaishanavi Harne students from
B.BSc Nursing & GNM gave speeches
and explained rights of women’s & gender equality & many other
points which highlighted the theme.
Some of the faculty
members also gave speeches on the theme Innovation and technology for gender
equality.
The
programme concluded with vote of thanks,
Ms. Mansi Kurwade from 3rd year proposed vote and thanks and
everyone dispersed happily.
